sweet tooth

Oh yeah, it's valentines day over at the decorated cookie.  I hang out there whenever I'm craving something sweet and lovely.  What I really enjoy about her designs is that they are totally doable.  Fantastic and bound to get ooohs and aaahs from their recipients yes, but not daunting to an inexperienced chef at all.  Well, maybe just a little bit.  I'm only wishing I could peel that licorice off that cookie right about now...

Valentines Day has come and gone and, if your kids are like mine, they are still going through their class bag of valentines to see who gave them what. I saw these on Design Mom today, and although it's certainly too late for this year I figured I'd get them up and try to remember them for next. Or maybe we should work on them this rainy weekend and store them away. Would that be cheating?

We've already finished Gage's simple cut, glued & stickered construction paper hearts but we haven't even thought about Zuzu's. Think I can pull this off for the whole class in two days? I'm certainly going to try...
