The concept is genius I tell you. Simply genius. This is one of those shops that makes you bang your head against the wall screaming, "why didn't I think of that?!"

Their wall decals are fabric, not vinyl, and they are completely reusable. They come in various designs but it's the dress up doll concept that I find truly remarkable. (Bangs head against wall one more time.)

Now that the new sewing machine has been saved from the depths of despair in our dusty garage, I'm dreaming up all sorts of things I can make for the house.  The list is getting long fast.  High on the list are some new throw pillows for just about every room in the house.  The above beauties are just a few of my favorite inspirations. I truly love the last one by Johnny Vintage but, as I announced on facebook last night, I'm thinking it probably not the best quote to introduce to our newly reading six year old.  Or his parrot of a younger sister. One to file away for the teenage years when ass kicking will be the least of my worries...

We were so inspired by lori marie's lovely glitter bells that we made some of our own. Mind you now, that the creative whimsy of a three & six year old is hard to contain so our bells are not quite as refined as lori's...but oh were they fun to make! Those are hers above. And here...are ours...

Going along with our reduce, recycle and reuse theme from last night, check this out! These lovely little fairy lights are courtesy of esprit cabane and yes, they are made with egg cartons, simple LED lights, a scissor & a hole punch. How sweet is that?
